10/10/10 in Florence - Oct 10

Our Sunday morning walk-about took us on a vistit to the bellisimo Medici/Riccardi Palace then over to Piazza S'Annunziata. Afterwards everyone was off again to their own agendas. I took an afternoon train trip up to Borgo San Lorenzo to see what it was like - it was asleep! Nothing going on there on Sunday!

Florence Walk - Oct 9

Saturday was a "stay-at-home-day" with another walk around the Florence neighborhoods. Today we saw a special commemoration going on in Duomo Piazza, wandered over to Dante's place, then on to Santa Croce and the Leather School. Everyone had the rest of the day to shop and visit museums, some even took time to rest!
