Welcome to the first of our 2013 "we're in Italy" posts! My travelers for these two weeks are Kathy Holbrook from Caswell Beach and Sherol Lappala from Southport. We arrived on time with all our belongings and have settled into the Residence La Contessina here in Florence with our Italian family. Today we did our orientation walkabout. The San Lorenzo market is just a block away so we started there, had lunch at Za-Za's and continued on to the river and back. Dinner at Nerone's and gelato at Tullio's was a delicious ending of a "bellisimo" day!
