Only two hours away via the "fast train" is Venice - the city built on water - also the only truly "walking city" in Europe since no wheeled vehicles are allowed in the historic city. With over 2000 streets and alleys and over 400 bridges over the grand canal and all the smaller ones, Venice is a challenge to walk through with a map, so we just wandered our way around. We took the waterbus (vaporetto) down the grand canal and you can relive that experience with us by seeing today's photos.
