Along the west coast of Italy north of Florence is the Italian Riviera and a unique section called the Cinque Terre. Five beautiful villages literally hang off the cliffs along the Ligurian Sea coast. The Ligurian is part of the Mediterranean Sea and the weather was perfect for a visit there. We only got to four of the villages opting to skip Corniglia because of train scheduling and time restraints but we loved our visits to Monterosso, Vernazza, Manarola and Riomaggiori.
