We had an appointment with DAVID this morning as we marveled at Michelangelo's marble masterpiece. Then there was our afternoon in Lucca. The train got us there at 2:30 and we enjoyed a late lunch and the refreshing fall scenery around the beautiful walled city. The rain held off for us until we boarded our evening train arriving back in Florence at 8 o'clock. The days seem to be flying by as we are in the last week of our Italian adventure.
