The day has finally arrived and so have our four travelers! Jim and Helen flew in via Amsterdam and Joan and Clara sailed in on the fast train from Rome. Patrizia arrived on August 30 with a couple of days to get settled in before meeing the group today Everything at La Contessina is just as we expected and the Pelagoti family are all here to welcome us. This evening we had a short orientation walk and a nice dinner at Nerone's on the corner. Afterwards we enjoyed a gelato from Tulio's - a nice beginning to our two-week adventure - stay tuned!
