Along the west coast of Italy north of Florence is the Italian Riviera and a unique section called the Cinque Terre. Five beautiful villages literally hang off the cliffs along the Ligurian Sea coast. The Ligurian is part of the Mediterranean Sea and the weather was perfect for a visit there. We only got to four of the villages opting to skip Corniglia because of train scheduling and time restraints but we loved our visits to Monterosso, Vernazza, Manarola and Riomaggiori. Enjoy your photo tour with us and think about coming along next time! More later . . .

A Slow Sunday - September 22
Today was a "day off" from touring around Tuscany so we all we our own ways. Some went to church, some to the Uffizi art gallery, some did laundry and many did shopping! Patrizia took a short train hop to the town of Prato and ran into an international food fair so it was Polish pork and kraut for lunch! We're all rested up for our big day tomorrow when we go to the Cinque Terre. No photos today, but more later . . .
